AI transparency check

Do4U helps you with the transparency duties of Article 50 of the EU AI Act, which apply from 2 August 2026. You enter the address of a page or paste its HTML and answer three short questions: do you use a chatbot, do you publish AI-generated images or videos, and do you publish AI-written texts on topics of public interest? The code looks for chat widgets of known services, signs of AI-generated media in the HTML and existing AI notices. The AI then sorts out which situations likely apply, with the paragraph and a reason, and writes short notice texts: a greeting line for the chat, a label for images and a note for articles. The code checks the answer and builds the HTML for a visible label. It is a checklist with hints, not legal advice.

Questions and answers

Does the tool tell me whether my website meets the AI Act?

No. It is a checklist with hints and never confirms that a website meets the law. For each situation it names the paragraph of Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 and says whether it likely applies, needs checking or was not detected. Please check each point yourself and ask an expert if in doubt.

Who has to inform visitors: me or the provider of the chatbot?

Article 50(1) is a duty of the provider of an AI system that talks to people. That is usually the company behind the chatbot, but it can be you if you built it or offer it under your own name. Labelling deep fakes and AI-written texts on matters of public interest is a duty of the deployer, so of you if you use the AI system professionally. The tool shows the role for each point.

What can the code find, and what not?

The code reads the HTML: chat widgets of known services and elements that look like a chat, signs of AI-generated images such as Content Credentials (C2PA), IPTC source types or names of image generators, and existing AI notices in English, German and Polish. It cannot see a chat that a script loads later, and it never opens image or video files. That is why you answer three short questions.

Is my text stored?

Only as long as needed: 7 days on Free, 30 days with a package – or not at all if you choose not to store it. Processing happens on our own servers in the EU (Poland).

Can I use the result right away?
