What happens with the texts, pages and images you give Do4U – short and checkable.
Where we process
Processing on our own servers in Poland, EU. In the API the model is called do4u-standard.
How long we keep data
- Inputs and results on Free and in the guest demo: 7 days, then deleted automatically
- With a purchased package: 30 days
- With “Do not store”: the input right away, the result after the first display, at the latest after one hour
- Images for alt texts: right after processing
- Invoices and payment records: as long as tax law requires
Technical and organisational measures
- Encrypted connections (HTTPS) for the website and the API
- Passwords and API keys stored only as hashes; API keys can be revoked at any time
- Two-factor sign-in available for every account
- Web addresses are read with protection against access to internal networks
- Automatic deletion after the storage period and the option “Do not store” per task
- Admin changes are written to an audit log
- Payments are handled by Stripe; Do4U never sees card data
Subprocessors
- OVHcloud – sending of emails (OVH SAS, France)
- reactive.chat – only if you connect it in your account
Documents and status
- Data processing agreement – for business customers, concluded in the dashboard

Credits-back promise
If a finished result that was paid with credits does not fit, you can get the credits for that task back to your balance: once per task, with a reason, within 14 days after the task. Limits per account: in total up to 5% of your finished tasks paid with credits (at least one); per month at most 20. Failed tasks cost nothing anyway. If our automatic checks find a result clearly unusable or wrong, the credits come back by themselves, without counting towards these limits.
How it works: open the finished result in your account and choose “Get the credits back”. You can also send a support request with the reason “Problem with a result” and choose the task.
Labelling AI-generated content
- Results of our tools are made fully or partly with AI. Every result says so.
- Do4U always adds a machine-readable label that cannot be switched off: the fields ai_generated and generator in JSON, an HTML comment in HTML results and the field ai_notice for image descriptions.
- In the web interface, results also show a visible note. It is on by default; you can switch it off in your settings, or per API job with ai_label.
- Results of automatic checks without AI carry ai_generated: false.
- The label contains no details about models or servers.
- Whether and how you have to label content yourself (for example under Article 50 of the EU AI Act) depends on how you use it. This is not legal advice, and the label is no statement that your use meets the law. Please check this for your case.
