These terms are the contract between LW IT Solutions Company Lukas Wójcik and everyone who uses Do4U – consumers and businesses alike. Where a rule applies to only one of the two groups, it says so.
Three points first, because everything else builds on them:
- Credits are not money. You pay for tasks with credits. Free credits expire at the end of the month, purchased credits after 24 months. Credits are not paid out (sections 6 and 7).
- Results are made by AI and can be wrong. Check every result before you use it. Do4U gives no legal, tax or other professional advice – not even with its tools for legal notices, privacy policies or consent (section 9).
- Consumers have a right of withdrawal. How it works and when it ends is set out in the withdrawal notice; these terms do not repeat it (section 8).
1. Provider, scope and who may contract
1.1 The provider
Do4U (do4u.eu) is provided by LW IT Solutions Company Lukas Wójcik, al. Tadeusza Kościuszki 80/82 lok. 301, 90-437 Łódź, Poland, VAT ID PL7252266190 (“we”, “us”). Contact: support@do4u.eu. Further details are in the imprint.
1.2 What this document is
These terms govern the use of Do4U and the purchase of credits. They are also the rules for services provided by electronic means (regulamin) under Article 8 of the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of services by electronic means. We make them available free of charge before the contract is concluded. You can save or print them at any time from this page.
1.3 Consumers and businesses
At registration, or later in your billing details, you state whether you act as a private person or as a business. That choice decides how prices are shown, what the invoice contains and which rights you have.
- Consumer is a natural person who concludes the contract for purposes not directly connected with their business or profession (Article 22¹ of the Polish Civil Code).
- Business is anyone who uses Do4U in the course of their business or profession. Whoever buys as a business confirms this at checkout and confirms that they are authorised to act for the business.
- Sole traders who conclude the contract in connection with their business, but where it is not of a professional nature for them (in particular given the activity entered in the CEIDG), have the protection of consumers in the areas the law provides (Article 7aa of the Polish Consumer Rights Act, Article 385⁵ of the Polish Civil Code), in particular the right of withdrawal. If you believe this applies to you, tell us; in case of doubt we decide in your favour.
Nothing in these terms restricts a right that cannot lawfully be restricted. Where a clause does not apply to someone because of mandatory law, it remains valid for everyone else.
1.4 Countries and sanctions
We sell to consumers and businesses in the European Union. Outside the EU we sell only where the order process offers this for the country concerned; for consumers outside the EU this is only the case in individual countries. We do not sell to persons or businesses in countries and territories subject to EU sanctions, and we do not accept payment methods from there. For this we check the billing country, the country of the IP address at checkout and the country of the payment method. You confirm that you are not subject to such sanctions and will not let Do4U be used for anyone who is.
1.5 Minimum age
Do4U is not aimed at children. You may only open an account if you are at least 18 years old and can conclude contracts on your own.
2. Definitions
- Account – your access to Do4U with email address and password (optionally a passkey and two-factor sign-in).
- Tool – a single function of Do4U, for example summarising, translating, alt texts, accessibility check or website check. The tool page shows what a tool does and what it costs.
- Task – a single run of a tool with your input (text, web address, image or file). Several tasks can be combined as a recipe or a batch.
- Result – what a task returns.
- Credits – the unit in which tasks are charged. Free credits are credited every month; purchased credits come from a package you bought. Bonus credits from a package, a voucher or a programme count as purchased credits unless stated otherwise.
- Package – a set number of credits at a one-off price. A package is not a subscription.
- Team – a shared workspace with its own credit balance, roles and projects.
- Share link – a secret address that shows a single result without sign-in.
- API key – a key with which your own software or a plugin uses Do4U.
3. Contract documents and their order
3.1 What forms the contract
The contract consists of: any individual written agreement or individual offer (section 7.4); these terms; for businesses the data processing agreement, if concluded in the dashboard; the description and prices of the tools and packages valid at the time of the task or purchase. The privacy policy and the withdrawal notice inform you about your rights; they are not changed by these terms.
3.2 Order of precedence
In case of conflict the documents prevail in the order listed in 3.1. In matters of processing personal data on behalf of a business, the data processing agreement prevails.
3.3 Descriptions
Feature pages, examples, comparisons and screenshots describe Do4U. For businesses they are not a guarantee of particular characteristics unless we expressly call something guaranteed in writing. For consumers, public statements we make about Do4U, in particular in advertising, count when assessing whether the service conforms to the contract (Article 43k(2) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act). If a description is wrong, we correct it.
3.4 Your own terms
General terms of a business customer do not apply, even if we do not object to them.
4. What Do4U is – and what it is not
4.1 What Do4U does
Do4U provides tools for the everyday work on websites: text tools (for example summarising, rewriting, proofreading, translating, reply drafts, product texts), image tools (for example alt texts, product photos, charts), checks of web pages (for example accessibility, SEO, structured data, contrast, broken links, embedded services) and reports (for example the website check). You use them in the web interface, through the API or through plugins. Some functions are free and need no account, within daily limits: the guest demo (3 runs per day) and short checks without AI. The functions actually available, their prices and limits are shown on the tool pages, on the pricing page and in your account.
4.2 How results come about
Many tools use an AI language model. It runs on our own servers in the EU (Poland); your inputs are not sent to an external AI provider. Other tools work purely with code, without AI; the result says which applies. We do not use your inputs and results to train AI models.
4.3 What Do4U is not
- No legal, tax or other professional advice. Tools that check legal notices, privacy policies, consent, withdrawal buttons, product safety information, price displays, job ads, green claims, AI transparency or accessibility only compare what they find with rules and patterns. A result such as “found” or “missing” is a technical finding, not a legal assessment, and it does not mean that your website is lawful. For a binding assessment, ask a lawyer or tax adviser.
- No guarantee of a result such as better rankings, more sales or more visibility in AI answers.
- No archive. Inputs and results are deleted automatically after the storage periods (section 16.2). Save what you want to keep.
4.4 Development of the service
We develop Do4U continuously and may add, change or remove tools and functions for good reasons: new legal requirements, security, technical development, insufficient demand, or a function that can no longer be operated sensibly. Functions marked as “beta”, “preview” or “new” may change more often or be withdrawn. For consumers, section 22.3 also applies.
5. Account and conclusion of the contract
5.1 Registration
You register with your email address and a password. When registering you accept these terms and take note of the privacy policy. With the creation of your account the contract on the use of Do4U is concluded, for an indefinite period and free of charge. Free credits are credited only after you have confirmed your email address. We record which version of these terms and of the privacy policy you accepted, when and from where, together with a checksum of the exact text; we do the same at each purchase and when you accept a new version.
5.2 Correct details, one free account
Your details must be correct; keep them up to date. Businesses provide company name, address, country and, if available, their VAT ID. Each person may have one free account. Several accounts used to obtain free credits more than once are not allowed.
5.3 Access data and security
Keep passwords, API keys and share links secret. API keys are shown only once; we store only a hash. If you suspect misuse, revoke the key or link and tell us at support@do4u.eu. You are responsible for actions taken with your access data unless you are not at fault.
5.4 Technical requirements
You need an internet connection, a current browser with JavaScript and cookies enabled for sign-in, and an email address you can receive mail at. The API needs software that can send HTTPS requests; plugins need the system named on their page (for example a current WordPress version). Necessary cookies are described in the privacy policy.
6. Credits
6.1 What credits are
Credits are a unit for charging tasks within Do4U. They are not money, not electronic money and not a voucher with a cash value. They cannot be transferred to other accounts, sold or exchanged; teams have their own balance (section 12). The balance is calculated only from the entries in your credit ledger, which you can see in your account.
6.2 Free credits
After you have confirmed your email address you receive 100 free credits each calendar month. Unused free credits expire at the end of the month. Free credits are always used before purchased credits.
6.3 Purchased credits
Purchased credits are valid for 24 months from the purchase. They are used in the order of their expiry: the credits that expire first are used first. Credits not used by then expire. Before purchased credits expire we remind you by email, as long as this reminder is switched on. Credits we credit as a goodwill gesture are valid for the same period. Credits from vouchers, referrals or partner programmes have the validity stated with the offer.
6.4 Estimate and charging
- Before each task we show the expected credits. When the task starts we reserve this amount. Afterwards we charge the actual usage, which depends on the length of input and output and can differ from the estimate. Some tools have a fixed price; it is shown on the tool page.
- Failed tasks cost nothing. A task that cannot be started within the maximum waiting time expires and also costs nothing.
- For recipes and batches we reserve the sum of the estimates in advance and charge each step or row at its actual usage. If a step fails, it costs nothing and the following steps are not run.
- For orders at a fixed price over several pages (for example a website report) we reserve the fixed price at the start and charge only the pages actually checked; the rest goes back to your balance.
- Recurring runs, such as the website watch, are announced by email in advance, paid from the balance at each run and can be switched off at any time. If your balance is not enough, the run is skipped and we tell you.
- Your balance never becomes negative. We charge at most what is available.
6.5 No payout, no refund in money
Credits are not paid out. Used credits are not refunded in money. This does not affect your statutory rights, in particular after a withdrawal (section 8), in case of non-conformity of the service (section 17) and in the cases of sections 21.3 and 22.3. The credits-back promise in section 6.6 does not refund money; it only returns credits to your balance.
6.6 Credits-back promise
As long as we offer the credits-back promise on the pricing page, the following applies: if the result of a finished task that was paid for with credits does not suit you, you can get the credits of that task back to your balance with the button under the result.
- Once per task, with one of the reasons offered, within the period after the task and within the limits per account (share of your finished tasks, maximum number per month) that the pricing page states at the time of your request.
- The credits go back to the pot they were taken from (free or purchased) and keep its rules, in particular its expiry. For a team task they go back to the team.
- You can also ask for the credits of a task back with a support request; please name the task.
- If our automatic checks detect that the result of a task is unusable, we return the credits of that task automatically. This does not count against the limits.
- The credits-back promise is a voluntary promise in addition to the law. It is not a guarantee of quality within the meaning of the Polish Civil Code, pays out no money and does not limit your statutory rights.
- We may change or end the credits-back promise for the future. This does not affect credits already returned.
6.7 Credits when the account is deleted
If you delete your account, your remaining credits expire without refund – including purchased credits you have not used yet. We remind you of this before you delete your account. Use them first. Your statutory rights, in particular the right of withdrawal, remain unaffected.
7. Buying credits
7.1 How the purchase contract is concluded
The packages on the pricing page are an invitation to make an offer. On the page “Credits” you choose a package, check your billing details and confirm:
- as a consumer, that you want the credits to be provided right after payment, and that you have taken note of what this means for your right of withdrawal (section 8);
- as a business, that you buy for your business and that there is no right of withdrawal.
By clicking the button “Buy now (payment required)” you place a binding order; this concludes the contract. You then go to the payment page of our payment provider Stripe, which only processes the payment. As soon as the payment has succeeded, we credit the credits and confirm the purchase by email together with the invoice. If you do not complete the payment, you receive no credits; the order lapses when the payment page expires (after 24 hours). Until you click the button you can correct your entries or cancel. We record which version of these terms (and for consumers of the withdrawal notice) you accepted with the purchase.
7.2 Prices and taxes
- The prices on the website at the time of the order apply. Package prices are net prices. Further currencies may be offered; the currency chosen at the order applies.
- Consumers pay the gross price including VAT. We charge Polish VAT (currently 23%), or the VAT of your country where the law requires it.
- Businesses in Poland pay the net price plus 23% VAT.
- Businesses in another EU country with a VAT ID that is valid in the EU VIES system pay the net price without VAT (reverse charge; you account for the tax in your country). Without a valid VAT ID we charge VAT as for consumers. If VIES is not reachable, we charge VAT first and repeat the check later. You are responsible for the correctness of your VAT ID.
- Businesses outside the EU pay without Polish VAT, as far as the place of supply is in your country; taxes and duties there are borne by you, unless stated otherwise.
7.3 Payment
Payments are handled by Stripe. Card and account details are entered at Stripe and are not received by us. Businesses can also pay by bank transfer where we offer it: you receive a pro forma invoice with the amount, our bank details and a reference. Our acceptance is the pro forma invoice; the credits and the invoice follow once the payment has been received in full. If the payment does not arrive within the period stated on the pro forma invoice, the order lapses. Bank charges are borne by the sender.
7.4 Individual packages on request
For larger amounts you can ask for an individual package. We then make an offer for your account only, with credits, price, currency and validity of the offer. You accept it on the page “Credits”; sections 7.1 to 7.3 apply.
7.5 Automatic top-up
Where we offer it, you can switch on an automatic top-up on the page “Credits”. You choose a package, a threshold and a monthly limit. If your balance falls below the threshold, we buy the chosen package again in your name and charge the payment method saved with Stripe. Each top-up is a separate purchase contract at the price you agreed to when switching it on, with its own invoice and confirmation email. Nothing is bought beyond the monthly limit, and there is a minimum interval between two top-ups. If the price rises, these terms change, your account type changes or a payment fails or needs confirmation by your bank, the top-up pauses and nothing is charged until you agree again or buy yourself. You can switch it off at any time with one click; a payment already in progress is completed. Automatic top-up only applies to your own balance and only to payments through Stripe. Consumers: by switching it on you request that the credits of each top-up are provided immediately; section 8 applies to each top-up.
7.6 Invoices
Invoices are issued electronically and are available in your account. Businesses can name a separate billing email address and an order number or cost centre. If a payment is refunded, we issue a correcting invoice.
7.7 Refunds and chargebacks through the payment provider
If a payment is refunded in full or in part or reversed through the payment provider, we block the share of the credits of that purchase that corresponds to the refunded amount, at most the purchased credits still available.
7.8 Vouchers, referrals and partner programme
Where we offer vouchers, a referral programme or a partner programme, the conditions shown with the offer apply. Rewards are credited only as credits, never as money. We may refuse or reverse rewards in case of misuse (for example self-referral or several accounts of the same person) and cancel them proportionally if the purchase they relate to is refunded.
8. Right of withdrawal (consumers)
Consumers only: you have a statutory right of withdrawal for every purchase of credits. The conditions, the period, how to exercise it, the model form, what you owe for credits already used and when the right ends early are set out in the withdrawal notice. It forms part of the information we give you before the contract; we do not repeat it here so that there are not two versions. You can withdraw by email, with the model form or with the withdrawal function “Withdraw from contract here” (at the bottom of every page and next to your purchases in your account).
Businesses have no right of withdrawal. Section 1.3 applies to sole traders.
9. Results and AI
9.1 Check before you use
AI can state wrong things in fluent language, leave something out, invent sources or numbers, or translate wrongly. Several tools check results automatically (for example that no numbers, dates or links appear that are not in your input). These checks reduce errors; they do not replace your own check. Check every result before you publish it, send it to someone or rely on it. A text you adopt is your text.
9.2 No legal advice
Section 4.3 applies. In particular, a result of a legal or compliance tool does not replace advice by a lawyer, a privacy policy or legal notice drafted for your case, or the assessment of an authority.
9.3 Labelling AI content
If you publish AI-generated content, you are responsible for complying with the labelling obligations that apply to you, in particular under Article 50 of the AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689). Do4U always adds a machine-readable note to results: JSON fields, an HTML comment in HTML results and a note for image descriptions. This note cannot be switched off. In the web interface, results also show a visible note; it is on by default, and you can switch it off in the account settings or with the API field ai_label. Results produced without AI do not get this note. Businesses are responsible for the AI literacy of their staff who work with Do4U (Article 4 of the AI Act).
9.4 No decisions about people
Do not use results as the sole basis for decisions that have legal effects on a person or affect them similarly significantly, for example in recruitment, credit or contract decisions.
9.5 Rights to results
As between you and us, you may use the results freely, also commercially. We claim no rights to them. Similar or identical results may also be produced for others. AI results are often not protected by copyright; we do not warrant that a result is protected, free of third-party rights or unique. If your input contains third-party content, their rights continue to apply to the result.
10. Your inputs and permitted use
10.1 Your inputs
You are responsible for what you give Do4U. Only enter content you are allowed to use and only personal data of others that you may process; as a business, conclude the data processing agreement for this. Do not enter special categories of personal data (for example health data), passwords or payment data unless a tool is expressly meant for it. With the option “Do not store” a task is not kept after the result is shown (section 16.2).
10.2 Web addresses and third-party websites
Several tools read web pages whose address you enter. Only enter addresses of pages that are publicly accessible or that you are allowed to have checked. Do4U reads pages as described on the page about our requests, with protection against access to internal networks. Some functions (for example a report over many pages of a domain) require you to prove that you control the domain; the proof is valid for the period stated there.
10.3 Prohibited use
You must not use Do4U, and must not let anyone use it:
- for unlawful content or purposes, in particular content that incites hatred or violence, sexualises or endangers children, infringes the rights of others (for example copyright, trademarks, personality rights, trade secrets), or contains malware;
- for deception, fraud, spam, fake reviews or other misleading commercial practices, or to impersonate other people or organisations;
- to circumvent limits, prices, protective measures or the role model, for example with several accounts, automated sign-ups or shared access;
- to overload, scan or attack Do4U or websites of others, or to access Do4U automatically other than through the documented API within its limits;
- to make Do4U available to third parties as your own service without our consent, except within your own products through the API or as an agency for your clients (section 12.3);
- to extract our prompts, models or settings, or to build a competing product with Do4U's output;
- in breach of sanctions (section 1.4).
10.4 Limits and fair use
Do4U runs on shared computers. We limit input length, open tasks, requests per minute and daily free use; the values depend on your plan and are shown in the account and in the API documentation. Batch tasks run with lower priority, mostly at night. If a use considerably impairs others, we may slow it down and tell you what would help.
10.5 How we apply these rules (content moderation)
We do not check inputs and results in advance for their lawfulness. Automated measures apply to everyone in the same way: size and format limits, request limits, protection against misuse and against access to internal networks, checks of sanctions countries. A person from our team looks into individual cases only when there is a notice (section 10.6), a specific suspicion of misuse or an error report. Our staff see the inputs and results of your tasks only if you expressly ask for this in a support request, or where this is necessary to prevent misuse or violations of the law; never for tasks with “Don't save”. Every such access is recorded. We act in a diligent, objective and proportionate way: we choose the mildest measure that is sufficient (for example deleting a result, a share link or an API key, slowing down, suspending a function or the account). We tell you the reasons clearly and specifically, unless the law forbids it. You can object to any measure at support@do4u.eu; a person examines the objection and replies to you (section 23). These rules are the information under Article 14 of the Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065).
10.6 Reporting unlawful content
Anyone can report to us at support@do4u.eu that content on Do4U (for example a share link) is unlawful. The report should contain: the reasons why the content is unlawful, the exact address (URL), your name and email address (except for reports of certain offences against children), and a statement that you make the report in good faith. We confirm receipt, examine the report without undue delay and tell you our decision. This address is also our single point of contact for users and for authorities (Articles 12 and 16 of the Digital Services Act); we answer in the languages named in section 14.3.
11. API, webhooks, plugins and integrations
11.1 API
With an API key you use the same tools, prices and limits as in the web interface. The number of keys and requests per minute depends on your plan. The API documentation describes the interface; we may develop it and will announce changes that are not backward compatible in advance as far as possible. You are responsible for your software and for every request made with your key.
11.2 Webhooks and team channels
You can have Do4U notify an address you name (webhook) or a channel in a team chat service when a task is finished or there are new findings. Webhooks contain only status, credits and a link, not the result. Do4U sends only to public HTTPS addresses and repeats failed deliveries a few times. We owe the sending, not that the recipient receives or processes it. You are responsible for the address, the chat service and its terms.
11.3 Plugins and browser extension
We provide plugins (for example for WordPress) and other integrations free of charge as tools for using Do4U. Their own licence applies to the plugin software; the WordPress plugin is licensed under GPL-2.0-or-later. You decide what the plugin sends to Do4U and what you adopt from the results; plugins do not change your content without your confirmation. Keep plugins up to date. Integrations marked as a test version are not intended for productive use.
11.4 Connected services
You can connect your Do4U account with partner services such as reactive.chat. The connection is created only with your consent, uses its own key that you can revoke at any time, and does not count against your package. The partner service is a separate service with its own terms; what it sends to Do4U is described in your account and in the privacy policy.
12. Teams and reports in your own name
12.1 Teams
Where teams are offered, you can create a team and invite others. The person who owns the team is our contract partner for the team: they buy credits for the team, receive the invoices and are responsible for the members as for themselves. Roles: owner, administrator, member. Members use the team's credits for team tasks; free credits exist only per person. An invitation becomes effective only when the invited person accepts it. Members' own accounts and contracts remain unaffected. A team with purchased credits can only be deleted once the credits are used or after contacting support.
12.2 Reports in your own name
From the package stated in the account you can show reports (for example accessibility, SEO and website check) with your own name, logo and an extra line. You may only use names and logos you are entitled to, and must not create the impression that the report comes from someone else. At the end of such reports there is a short note “Made with Do4U”; in paid packages you can hide it, as long as the package is valid.
12.3 Agencies
If you use Do4U for your clients, you remain our only contract partner. Make sure you are allowed to process your clients' content and pages, and that a data processing arrangement exists between you and your client where required.
13. Share links
You can share selected results – currently reports on web pages, not text or image tools – through a share link. Anyone who has the link can see the result without sign-in for as long as the link is valid (1, 7 or 30 days, never longer than the result is stored). The view shows only the result, not your input or account; your own brand only if you switch it on. You decide whether and with whom you share a link; you can revoke it at any time on the page “Share”. Before sharing, make sure the result may be disclosed. We count only the number and time of views.
14. Availability, maintenance and support
14.1 Availability
We operate Do4U carefully and aim for high availability, but cannot promise constant availability. When there is high load, tasks may wait; paid packages and single tasks are served before Free and batch tasks. Unless individually agreed, no particular availability (service level) is owed.
14.2 Maintenance
We may interrupt Do4U for maintenance, updates and security measures. We plan longer interruptions outside the main business hours (Central European Time) and announce them where possible. Urgent security measures may take place without notice.
14.3 Support
Support is available through the support form in your account and at support@do4u.eu, in English, German and Polish, on working days. We may use our own AI to translate requests and to draft replies; a person reads every reply before it is sent.
15. Our rights
Do4U, its software, texts, prompts, design, the name Do4U and the logos belong to us or our licensors. For the term of the contract you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Do4U for your own purposes within these terms. Open-source components and plugins are subject to their own licences. If you send us suggestions, we may use them without restriction and without payment.
16. Data protection and confidentiality
16.1 Roles
How we process your account data is described in the privacy policy. Where a business has personal data processed with Do4U, it is the controller and we are the processor; the data processing agreement concluded in the dashboard applies.
16.2 Storage periods
Inputs and results are deleted automatically: after 7 days for guests and Free, after 30 days with purchased credits. With “Do not store” the input is deleted right away and the result after it is first shown, at the latest after one hour. Uploaded images are deleted right after processing. Under “My data” you can see what is stored, export it and delete it earlier.
16.3 Confidentiality and feedback
We treat your inputs and results as confidential and use them only to carry out your tasks, to operate and secure Do4U and to fulfil legal obligations. We do not use them to train AI models. If you rate a result or write a comment, we use it to improve the tools; it is never passed to the AI model. We quote you as a customer only with your express consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
17. Warranty
17.1 Consumers
For consumers the statutory rules on the conformity of digital services apply (Chapter 5b of the Polish Consumer Rights Act). Because Do4U is supplied continuously, we are responsible for a lack of conformity that occurs or becomes apparent while the service is to be supplied (Article 43l(3) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act). You may demand that we bring the service into conformity; under the statutory conditions you may reduce the price or withdraw from the contract. That AI results can contain errors (section 9.1) is part of the agreed description of the service and not in itself a lack of conformity; a defect beyond that remains a defect.
17.2 Businesses
For businesses Do4U is provided in the state in which it is available. To the extent permitted by law, we give no warranty that it is fit for a particular purpose, uninterrupted or free of errors, and statutory warranty (rękojmia) is excluded. Section 18 remains unaffected.
18. Liability
18.1 What is never limited
We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and wherever the law does not allow a limitation. Claims of data subjects under Article 82 GDPR remain unaffected.
18.2 Consumers
Towards consumers we are liable under the statutory rules. The limitations in section 18.3 do not apply to consumers.
18.3 Businesses
- For slight negligence we are only liable for the breach of essential contractual obligations (obligations whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on which you may rely), limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract.
- For slight negligence our total liability is limited to the fees you paid to us in the twelve months before the event causing the damage. We are not liable for lost profit and indirect damage in case of slight negligence; this is expressly agreed within the meaning of Article 361 § 2 of the Polish Civil Code.
- Where you use Do4U free of charge (Free, guest demo, free checks), we are liable only for intent and gross negligence.
- We are not liable for damage arising because a result was used without the check required in section 9.1, for data you did not save before the storage period expired, or for third-party services you connected.
- These limits also apply in favour of our employees and subcontractors.
19. Indemnity (businesses)
Businesses indemnify us against claims by third parties and authorities, including reasonable legal costs, that arise because they breached sections 10, 12 or 13 or entered content or data they were not allowed to use. We inform you of such a claim without undue delay and do not acknowledge it without your consent. This does not apply to consumers.
20. Suspension
We may suspend individual functions, API keys, share links, a team or the account, in whole or in part, if there is a reasonable suspicion of a breach of section 10, if security or the operation for others is endangered, if a payment is reversed without reason, or if a court or authority requires it. We limit the suspension to what is necessary, tell you the reason (in advance where this does not defeat the purpose) and lift it as soon as the reason no longer exists (section 10.5).
21. Term and termination
21.1 Term
The contract on the use of Do4U runs for an indefinite period. Each purchase of credits is a separate contract that is fulfilled by providing the credits and carrying out the tasks.
21.2 Termination by you
You can terminate at any time by deleting your account in the settings; no notice period applies. Section 6.7 applies to remaining credits. Before deleting, save the results and invoices you need; under “My data” you can export your data.
21.3 Termination by us
We may terminate the contract with 30 days' notice in text form. If you still have valid purchased credits at that time, we refund the price for the unused purchased credits proportionally. We may terminate without notice for good cause, in particular for a serious or repeated breach of section 10 despite a warning, for fraud or for misuse of payment methods; in that case no refund is due unless the law requires one.
21.4 After the end
When the account is deleted we delete the associated data as described in the privacy policy. Invoices, purchase records and the proof of acceptance of these terms are kept as long as the law requires.
22. Changes to these terms and to the service
22.1 Reasons for a change
We may change these terms only for a valid reason: a change in the law or in case law, a decision of an authority, a new or changed function of Do4U, a change at a necessary service provider (for example payment), averting misuse or a security risk, or the correction of an obvious error or a clarification.
22.2 Procedure
We inform you by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect and state what changes. Until then you can object or delete your account (terminate). If you do not object, the new version applies from the stated date; we point this out in the notice. Purely linguistic corrections and changes only in your favour can take effect without notice. An automatic top-up pauses after a change until you agree again (section 7.5).
22.3 Consumers
We make changes to the service that are not necessary to keep it in conformity only for the reasons in 22.1, at no cost to you, and inform you clearly (Article 43p of the Polish Consumer Rights Act). If a change materially and negatively affects your access to or use of Do4U, we inform you in good time on a durable medium. You can then terminate the contract free of charge within 30 days of the change or of being informed, whichever is later (Article 43q of the Polish Consumer Rights Act); we refund the price of unused purchased credits proportionally. Changes to the credit prices of tools do not apply to tasks already started.
23. Complaints
You can complain about Do4U at any time at support@do4u.eu or through the support form. Please state your account email, what happened and when, and what you ask for. We reply in text form within 14 days of receipt. If information is missing, we ask for it. For consumers the following applies: if we do not reply within 14 days, the complaint is deemed accepted (Article 7a of the Polish Consumer Rights Act). We send the reply on a durable medium. A complaint is not a prerequisite for going to court.
24. Out-of-court dispute resolution
The European Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 (Regulation (EU) 2024/3228). We are not bound by a code of conduct. We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration body. Independently of this, and for information only: as a consumer in Poland you can turn to the permanent consumer arbitration courts at the provincial inspectors of the Trade Inspection, to mediation, or to a municipal or district consumer ombudsman. Information and the register of authorised bodies are available at uokik.gov.pl; the EU Commission keeps a list of the bodies in all Member States.
25. Governing law, jurisdiction and language
25.1 Governing law
Polish law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice does not deprive them of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the country of their habitual residence (Article 6(2) of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008).
25.2 Jurisdiction
Businesses: the courts having jurisdiction for Łódź, Poland, have exclusive jurisdiction (Article 25 of Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012); we may also sue at your seat. Consumers: you can sue us in the courts of the Member State of our seat or at your place of residence; we can sue you only in the courts of the Member State in which you live (Article 18 of Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012).
25.3 Language
These terms are published in Polish, English and German. The Polish version is binding; the English and German versions and versions in other languages are translations for information. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you as a consumer have your habitual residence remain unaffected by this (section 25.1). You can contact us in English, German or Polish.
26. Final provisions
- Notices are given in text form: to you at the email address in your account or in the account, to us at support@do4u.eu or by post. Keep your email address up to date.
- Transfer: businesses may transfer the contract only with our consent. We may transfer it to a successor of our business; we will inform you, and you may then terminate free of charge with a pro-rata refund of unused purchased credits.
- Subcontractors: we may use subcontractors and remain responsible for them.
- Severability: if a provision is invalid, the rest remains valid. Instead of the invalid provision, the statutory rule applies.
- Force majeure: neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control (for example natural disasters, war, failure of the public internet or electricity supply, acts of authorities).
