Legal notice check
Do4U reads the legal notice (imprint) of your website and compares it with § 5 of the German Digital Services Act (DDG) or with the Polish rules for electronic services, entrepreneurs and companies. You enter the address of the legal notice or of your start page, or you paste its HTML or text. From a start page Do4U follows the link to the legal notice of the same website. The code finds the name, legal form, representatives, address, e-mail, phone, register and number, VAT ID or NIP, share capital and more. For every point you see whether it was found, is missing or should be checked, with a quote from your page and the rule. Optionally the Do4U AI looks for details in unusual layouts; every value must stand word for word in your page. Not legal advice.
Who it is for
For freelancers, small companies, shops and agencies in Germany or Poland who want to check a legal notice quickly, for example before a launch, after a change of address or for a client website.

- Find an old reference to § 5 TMG or a link to the closed EU dispute resolution platform

Questions and answers
Does Do4U tell me that my legal notice is complete?
No. The tool is not legal advice and never says that a legal notice is complete or correct. It reads the visible text of the page, compares it with the rules it lists and shows what it found, what is missing and what you should check. “Found” only means that the code found a matching detail.
Which rules does the tool check?
For Germany § 5 of the Digital Services Act (DDG). For Poland art. 5 of the act on providing electronic services, art. 20 ust. 3 of the entrepreneurs law and, for a sp. z o.o. or an S.A., the commercial companies code. Every point names its rule and the list links the sources. § 18 MStV on editorial content is marked as not checked at the primary source.
What does the AI do, and can I switch it off?
The code reads all details itself. The Do4U AI only searches the text for details the code did not find, for example in unusual layouts. Each value must stand word for word in your page, or Do4U drops it. With “code only” the check runs without AI and is free up to a daily limit.
Is my text stored?
Only as long as needed: 7 days on Free, 30 days with a package – or not at all if you choose not to store it. Processing happens on our own servers in the EU (Poland).
