Redirect plan
Do4U matches the addresses of your old website to the addresses of your new website. You paste two lists, one address per line, and get a plan: for every old page the new page that replaces it, the reason for the match and a level of certainty (sure, probable, unsure or no match). The code does most of the work: it ignores differences in spelling, www, upper and lower case, file endings and tracking parameters, finds identical paths and identical last parts of the path, and compares similar ones in many languages. Only pages that stay unclear go to the AI, and the AI can only choose from your list of new addresses. The code checks that every target is on that list and that there are no chains and no loops. You export the rules as .htaccess, nginx or CSV, and the export is made in your browser.
Who it is for
For website owners, agencies and developers who move a site to a new domain or a new structure and want to keep their search rankings and links working.
Typical uses
- Move a website to a new domain
- Restructure the addresses of an existing website
- Relaunch a shop with new category and product paths
- Check an old redirect list for chains, loops and missing pages
Example
Input
Old addresses: https://www.old-example.com/about.html https://www.old-example.com/services/web-design/ https://www.old-example.com/blog/2019/my-first-post https://www.old-example.com/prices New addresses: https://example.com/about https://example.com/services/web-design https://example.com/news/my-first-post https://example.com/pricing
Result
/about.html → /about: sure (same path, only the file ending differs) /services/web-design/ → /services/web-design: sure (same path on the new domain) /blog/2019/my-first-post → /news/my-first-post: probable (same last part of the path) /prices → the code finds no match; the AI proposes /pricing: probable Export as .htaccess, nginx or CSV; unsure matches are commented out.

Questions and answers
Does the AI decide the redirects?
No. The code matches everything it can check. Only the pages that stay unclear are shown to the AI, and the AI can only choose a page from your list of new addresses or say that none fits. A match chosen by the AI never counts as sure.
Why are some matches commented out in the export?
Unsure matches could send visitors to a wrong page. They stay in the file as comments with a note, so you can check them and switch them on by hand. Pages without a match are listed in the same way.
Which export format should I choose?
For Apache, RewriteRule is the exact choice and also handles parameters in the address. Redirect 301 is simpler, but it also redirects all sub paths of an address. For nginx, use the location format for plain paths and the map format if addresses have parameters. The CSV table is for checking and for other tools.
Is my text stored?
Only as long as needed: 7 days on Free, 30 days with a package – or not at all if you choose not to store it. Processing happens on our own servers in the EU (Poland).
