Do4U shows how a page looks when someone shares its link, and checks the tags behind the preview. You enter one address. Do4U reads the page and the start of its share image. The code collects the Open Graph tags, the Twitter/X card tags and the fallbacks (title, meta description, first image), the canonical link and the language. It reads the real format and size of the image from the file and checks it against the tags. You get a neutral preview, a table of all tags, findings with a short reason and suggested tags to copy. No AI is used, and the check is free.

Privacy

Processed on our own servers in the EU (Poland). Inputs and results are deleted after 7 days (Free) or 30 days (packages), or right after you see the result if you choose not to store them. Images are deleted right after processing.

Tool name: social_card_check. Create a job with POST /api/v1/jobs and fetch the result with GET /api/v1/jobs/{id}. You find your API key in your account.

Questions and answers

Does the social card check use AI?

No. Do4U reads the page and the start of the share image, and the code checks the tags. The check is free; there is a daily limit of checks per account.

Why does the preview not look exactly like on a social network?

The preview is a neutral sketch. Each platform has its own design, cuts texts at its own length and keeps previews in a cache for a while. Do4U shows what the page tells the platforms.

Which size should a share image have?

For large previews, 1200 × 630 px with an aspect ratio of about 1.91 : 1 is commonly recommended. Do4U reads the real size from the image file and compares it with og:image:width and og:image:height.

Is my text stored?

Only as long as needed: 7 days on Free, 30 days with a package – or not at all if you choose not to store it. Processing happens on our own servers in the EU (Poland).

Can I use the result right away?

Results are AI-generated. Please read them before you publish or send them.
