Privacy

Processed on our own servers in the EU (Poland). Inputs and results are deleted after 7 days (Free) or 30 days (packages), or right after you see the result if you choose not to store them. Images are deleted right after processing.

In the API

Tool name: alt_text. Create a job with POST /api/v1/jobs and fetch the result with GET /api/v1/jobs/{id}. You find your API key in your account.

Questions and answers

Which image formats work?

JPG, PNG, WebP and GIF up to 5 MB. We shrink the image and remove its metadata, such as the location.

Is my image stored?

No. The image is deleted right after processing; only the text result is kept for the storage period.

What do I get besides the alt text?

A short caption for under the image, a longer description, a suggested file name in lowercase with hyphens and a ready HTML snippet. Search engines read the file name and the caption as hints about the image. The program builds the file name from the alt text: special letters are transliterated (ä becomes ae, ł becomes l), filler words are left out and the length is limited. The file type stays as in your original.

Is my text stored?

Only as long as needed: 7 days on Free, 30 days with a package – or not at all if you choose not to store it. Processing happens on our own servers in the EU (Poland).

Can I use the result right away?

Results are AI-generated. Please read them before you publish or send them.
