Measurement series review

Compare measured values with explicitly approved limits, summarize feature and batch groups and review missing readings, ambiguous specifications and source-backed AI observations.

Input

Measurements CSV: id,feature,batch,date,value,unit,note M1,Diameter,B1,2026-11-01,10.010,mm,Instrument zero checked M2,Diameter,B1,2026-11-01,10.020,mm,Same measurement procedure M3,Diameter,B1,2026-11-01,10.060,mm,Repeat measurement rec…

Result

Three numeric diameter readings of 10.010, 10.020 and 10.060 mm have a mean of 10.030 mm. The 10.060 mm reading exceeds the approved upper bound of 10.050 mm; the empty fourth reading remains counted as missing. The group requires review…

Measurement review needs a clear boundary between recorded values, approved specifications and interpretation. This tool keeps exact source identifiers, compares unrounded fixed-point values with explicitly confirmed limits and summarizes each selected feature or batch. The AI reviews a representative source note and preserves every matching specification ID; deterministic code controls all numeric checks and statistics.

Who it is for

Quality teams, workshops and technical operations reviewing measured values against maintained internal specifications. Appropriate for organizing evidence before a responsible reviewer makes a decision; not a substitute for calibrated instruments, an approved sampling plan or a quality-release process.

Typical uses

  • Group readings by feature and exact unit, optionally keeping batches separate.
  • Apply inclusive or exclusive supplied bounds without letting display rounding change the result.
  • Identify missing readings, absent or ambiguous specifications and small numeric samples.
  • Review minimum, maximum, mean, median and clearly labeled sample or population standard deviation alongside exact source references.

Questions and answers

Can the model change the numeric decision?

No. It returns exact source-bound review suggestions and all matching specification IDs. The server compares original fixed-point values independently. Missing or multiple matching specifications remain unresolved rather than selecting a favorable limit.

What do the statistics assume?

They describe only the included numeric observations. Sample standard deviation uses n−1; population standard deviation uses n. Missing values are excluded from arithmetic and remain counted. Normality, independence, stability, representativeness and measurement uncertainty are not established. No capability indices or confidence guarantee are inferred.

Does rounding affect pass or fail?

No. Rounding changes only the displayed descriptive statistics. Original values and approved bounds are compared exactly with the chosen inclusive or exclusive boundary rule. A row within configured checks is not a quality-release approval.

Is my text stored?

Only as long as needed: 7 days on Free, 30 days with a package – or not at all if you choose not to store it. Processing happens on our own servers in the EU (Poland).
