Payment and invoice reconciliation

Propose matches between incoming payments and open invoices, identify ambiguity and calculate instalments, remaining balances and overpayments.

Input

An open invoice for 100.00 EUR has two payments with the same invoice reference: 60.00 EUR and 40.00 EUR.

Result

If both matches pass the reference, currency and ambiguity checks, the proposed allocation totals 100.00 EUR with 0.00 EUR remaining. It does not mark an invoice paid in an external system.

Payment references and customer names are not always written consistently. AI proposes links, while deterministic checks keep conflicting currencies, references and ambiguous candidates out of the allocation. All results remain review proposals.

Questions and answers

What are the supported limits?

CSV with comma separators and exact English column headers, or arrays of row objects through the API. Up to 40 rows in total, 30 rows per table and 24,000 cell characters. Decimal fields are strings with a decimal point: two places for money, three for quantities. Maximum amount or unit price 1,000,000.00; maximum quantity 10,000. Units and currencies are never converted. Every result requires review. Only positive incoming payments and positive outstanding invoice balances are supported. Dates use YYYY-MM-DD. One payment can match one invoice; splitting a payment across invoices is not supported. No bank access, booking or payment execution.

Does the tool act on these results?
