Questions and answers

How do markup and margin differ?

Markup multiplies cost by one plus the percentage. Target margin divides cost by one minus the percentage. A later discount reduces the achieved margin; the selected margin is a pre-discount target.

How are rounding and totals calculated?

Each line cost, selling price, discounted net amount and tax amount is rounded to two decimals using the chosen rule. Totals add these already rounded amounts. No model-supplied amount enters the calculation.

Does the tool choose a tax rate or send a binding offer?

No. Tax must be explicitly supplied and reviewed. The tool creates a calculation draft only and performs no external submission.

Is my text stored?

Only as long as needed: 7 days on Free, 30 days with a package – or not at all if you choose not to store it. Processing happens on our own servers in the EU (Poland).

Can I use the result right away?

Results are AI-generated. Please read them before you publish or send them.
