Build a glossary
Do4U builds a translation glossary from your website or a text. You enter an address, optionally with more pages of the same website, or paste a text, and choose the target languages. The code finds brand, product and model names, terms in the page title, headings and navigation, terms with a trademark sign and repeated phrases. The AI suggests a rule for each term: never translate, translate with one fixed term per language, or ignore, with a short reason. Terms already in your glossary are shown and not asked again. You tick the rows you want and add them to your glossary with one click, or download them as CSV. Translations with Translate HTML and Language files then keep these terms consistent.
Who it is for
For website owners, shops, agencies and translators who publish in several languages and want brand names, product names and key terms to stay consistent in every translation.
Typical uses
- Start a glossary before you translate a website
- Keep brand, product and model names untranslated
- Fix one translation for key terms in each language
- Check new pages for terms that are missing in your glossary
Example
Input
Text (target languages: de, pl): Acme® Cloud Backup keeps your files safe. The Acme Vault X200 syncs with AcmeSync. Choose a backup plan that fits: every backup plan includes support, and you can change your backup plan every month.
Result
Acme → never translate (brand with trademark sign) Acme Vault X200 → never translate (product and model name) AcmeSync → never translate (product name) Cloud Backup → fixed term: de “Cloud-Backup”, pl “kopia zapasowa w chmurze” backup plan → fixed term: de “Backup-Tarif”, pl “plan kopii zapasowych” The code found the terms and checked the AI answer. You choose which rows go into your glossary.

Questions and answers
Which translations use the glossary?
Translate HTML and Language files read your glossary for every task: terms marked never translate stay as they are, fixed terms are used in the target language. You can edit or delete every entry on your glossary page at any time.
Does the tool change my glossary on its own?
No. The result is a suggestion. Only the rows you tick and add with the button go into your glossary, and only into the glossary of your own account. Entries that are already there are skipped, and the glossary holds up to 200 entries.
What does the code check and what does the AI do?
The code finds the candidate terms on your pages or in your text and counts how often they occur. The AI decides on each candidate and gives the terms per language. The code checks the answer: every term must be one of the candidates, fixed terms must not be empty or too long and must not contain numbers that are not in the original term.
Is my text stored?
Only as long as needed: 7 days on Free, 30 days with a package – or not at all if you choose not to store it. Processing happens on our own servers in the EU (Poland).
Can I use the result right away?
Results are AI-generated. Please read them before you publish or send them.
