Language level (A1–C1)

Do4U rewrites your text for the language level you choose, from A1 (beginner) to C1 (advanced), in the language of your text or in another language. The AI does the rewriting, the code does the checking: it measures sentence length, word length and readability before and after, lists the sentences that are still longer than the guideline for your level and gives an estimate of the level based on sentence and word length. It also checks that every number, date, time, link and name from your text is still in the result and tells you if something is missing. You can ask it to keep technical terms. The estimate is not a verified level and not a CEFR certification.

Privacy

Processed on our own servers in the EU (Poland). Inputs and results are deleted after 7 days (Free) or 30 days (packages), or right after you see the result if you choose not to store them. Images are deleted right after processing.

Questions and answers

Does Do4U certify the language level?

No. The AI rewrites the text for the level you choose. The code measures sentence length and word length and compares them with guideline values for each level. The result is an estimate based on sentence and word length, not a verified level and not a CEFR certification. Teachers and editors still decide whether the text suits the learners.

What does the code check?

It counts sentences and words, measures the average and the longest sentence and the share of long words, calculates readability with a formula for the language and lists every sentence above the guideline for your level. It also checks that all numbers, dates, times, links and names from your text are in the result, and it warns about numbers that were not in your text.

Can the result be in another language?

Yes. By default the result is in the language of your text, which the code detects. You can choose another language. Then the AI translates and adapts the text, and the readability values before and after cannot be compared, because they use different formulas.

Is my text stored?

Only as long as needed: 7 days on Free, 30 days with a package – or not at all if you choose not to store it. Processing happens on our own servers in the EU (Poland).

Can I use the result right away?

Results are AI-generated. Please read them before you publish or send them.
