Inclusive and plain language
Do4U reads your text and points out wording that may exclude or hurt people and wording that is needlessly complicated. For every passage you get a neutral or simpler alternative, a category and a short reason. The code finds candidates from word lists in German, English and Polish and measures long sentences and long words. The AI judges each candidate in context and may add passages the code missed, but only with a quote. The code then checks that every quote is really in your text and that the suggestions follow your settings. You also get your text with the suggestions applied and every change marked. These are suggestions, not rules, and an AI assessment: please check them. Whether you use gender-inclusive forms is up to you. By default Do4U suggests nothing about gendering and only points out real exclusion.
Who it is for
For editors, communication teams, public offices, schools and anyone who wants a quick second look at a text before it is published.
Typical uses
- Check a job advertisement or a web page for wording that excludes people
- Find needlessly complicated sentences in an official letter
- See which passages a style guide would mark in a long article
- Get suggestions for gender-inclusive forms in the form you choose, or none at all
Example
Input
Text: Applicants who are wheelchair-bound should contact us first. Due to the fact that the form is long, the applicant has to fill it in. Check: both, gender: do not prescribe
Result
wheelchair-bound → uses a wheelchair (disability and health): the wording shows the person as tied to the chair. Due to the fact that → because (roundabout phrase). Gender: nothing suggested, because you did not ask for gender-inclusive forms.

Questions and answers
Does Do4U tell me to use gender-inclusive language?
No. By default Do4U makes no suggestions about gendering at all and only points out real exclusion, for example derogatory or outdated terms. If you want suggestions, choose a form: gender-neutral wording, pair forms, the gender star or the gender colon. You can also set your default in your brand voice. Whatever you choose, the code removes every suggestion that does not match it.
How does Do4U make sure the suggestions are not invented?
The code finds candidates itself and numbers them. The AI judges them and may add other passages, but only with a quote. The code checks that every quote is in your text word for word, that the alternative is not empty and not the same as the quote, and that it follows your gender setting. Everything else is dropped, and the result tells you how many suggestions were dropped.
Which languages work best?
German, English and Polish have word lists for exclusion, roundabout phrases and formal words. Sentence and word length are measured in many more languages. For other languages the AI looks for passages without a word list, and the result says so. The result is an AI assessment: please read the suggestions before you use them.
Is my text stored?
Only as long as needed: 7 days on Free, 30 days with a package – or not at all if you choose not to store it. Processing happens on our own servers in the EU (Poland).
Can I use the result right away?
