API documentation

With the Do4U API you use the same tools as on the website from your own software: summarise, compare, support replies, alt texts, rewrite and translate. Every request is processed on our own servers in Poland, EU.

OpenAPI 3.1 description (JSON) – Machine-readable description of this API for code generators and tools such as Postman or Insomnia. No key needed.

Authentication

Create a key under API keys in your account. Send it with every request in the header Authorization: Bearer <key> (or X-API-Key: <key>). Keep the key secret and never put it into a web page. You can revoke a key at any time.

How it works

Jobs run asynchronously. You create a job and get its id at once (HTTP 202). Then you fetch the job until its status is done or failed. Ask every 2 to 5 seconds; most jobs take a few seconds.

Request fields for POST /jobs

Repeat requests safely (Idempotency-Key)

Send the header Idempotency-Key with POST /jobs, for example a random UUID for each job (1 to 255 printable ASCII characters). If the connection breaks and you send the same request again with the same Idempotency-Key and the same API key within 24 hours, you get the same answer again: the same job, no second job and no second charge. The answer then has the header Idempotent-Replayed: true. Use a new key for every new job. If you send the same key with a different request, you get 422 idempotency_conflict. Errors are not stored: after an error you can send the request again with the same key.

Tools and options

Job status

queued and running: still working (position and wait_seconds help you to wait). done: result contains the fields of the tool. failed: nothing was charged (credits is 0); error.code names the reason: address_blocked (Do4U does not open this address, for example a private or internal one; send the text or HTML instead), input_too_large (shorten the input), image_unavailable or job_failed. expired: the result is no longer stored.

Уебкуки

Добави "callback_url" към POST /api/v1/jobs и Do4U изпраща подписан POST (събитие job.finished със статус, кредити и линк към резултата - не самия резултат), щом задачата приключи. Само публични адреси на порт 80 или 443; опитваме до 6 пъти с нарастващи паузи.

Провери заглавката X-Do4U-Signature: t=<time>,v1=<hex>, където v1 = HMAC-SHA256(secret, "<time>.<raw body>"). Отхвърляй стари времена (напр. по-стари от 5 минути). Тайната ти започва с whsec_ и се показва на страницата API ключове.

credits.low

Когато балансът от кредити на акаунт падне под прага, Do4U изпраща един подписан POST към webhook адреса на акаунта. Събитието не съдържа лични данни, само баланса, прага и часа (UTC). Следващото идва едва след като отново бъдат добавени кредити (покупка, месечни безплатни кредити или ваучер). Подписът и тайният ключ са същите като при job.finished.

n8n

Готов работен процес: уебкук получава извикването от Do4U, проверява подписа, взема резултата и го предава на следващата ти стъпка.

Изтегли шаблона за n8n (JSON)

Шаблон, още не тестван в реална инстанция на n8n или Make – моля, тествай проверката на подписа, преди да го използваш.

В n8n: Workflows → Import from file. После въведи тайната си във възела "Check signature" и API ключа си в "Do4U: get result", активирай работния процес и използвай продукционния URL на уебкука като callback_url. Самостоятелно хостваният n8n изисква променливата на средата NODE_FUNCTION_ALLOW_BUILTIN=crypto за проверката на подписа.

Make

1. Добави модула Webhooks → Custom webhook като тригер и включи "JSON pass-through" и "Get request headers" в разширените му настройки.
2. Използвай адреса на този уебкук като callback_url.
3. Провери подписа: сравни v1 от заглавката X-Do4U-Signature с sha256(t + "." + raw body; hex; твоята тайна).
4. Добави HTTP → Make a request: GET към result_url със заглавка Authorization: Bearer <your API key>.
5. Използвай полето result в следващите си модули.

Шаблон, още не тестван в реална инстанция на n8n или Make – моля, тествай проверката на подписа, преди да го използваш.

Рецепти: свържи инструменти във верига

Рецептата изпълнява от 2 до 4 инструмента един след друг като една задача. Изпрати "recipe" вместо "tool": или името на готова рецепта, или списък със стъпки. Текстът влиза в първата стъпка; резултатът от всяка стъпка е текстът за следващата стъпка. GET /api/v1/recipes изброява готовите рецепти, инструментите, които можеш да използваш, и полето, което всеки инструмент предава нататък.

Получаваш една оценка за всички стъпки (credits_estimate). Тази сума се резервира при старта. След всяка стъпка реалното използване се осчетоводява, а остатъкът остава резервиран до края, след което се освобождава. Неуспешна стъпка не струва нищо, останалите стъпки се пропускат, а вече завършените стъпки се таксуват.

GET /api/v1/jobs/{id} показва всяка стъпка със статуса ѝ (pending, queued, running, done, failed, skipped), кредитите ѝ, известие input_shortened, ако текстът е трябвало да бъде скъсен за следващия инструмент, и резултата от всяка стъпка, след като рецептата е приключила. С no_store резултатите се показват веднъж. callback_url се задейства веднъж, в края на рецептата.

Errors

Errors always have the same form: {"error": {"code": "...", "message": "..."}}. With 429 and 503 the header Retry-After says how many seconds to wait.

Limits

• 60 requests per minute per key and 120 per account.
• Open jobs at the same time per account: Free 3, Starter 3, Standard 5, Pro 10, for the website and the API together.
• Input: Free 8 000 characters, paid packages 30 000. Lower limits per tool: compare 20 000, alt_text 1 000, translate 12 000 (compare: both texts together).
• API keys: Free 1, Starter 1, Standard 5, Pro 10.

Credits

A new job shows an estimate (credits_estimate); charged is the actual use (credits). Failed jobs cost nothing. Free credits are used first.

Data

Inputs and results are stored for 7 days (Free) or 30 days (paid packages), then deleted. Images are deleted right after processing. Results are AI-generated: please check them before you use them.

Отговаряй на имейли, без да сменяш входящата си поща

Do4U не поддържа входяща кутия и никога не съхранява данни за достъп до пощенската ти кутия. Два начина да получаваш чернови на отговори въпреки това:

S1 – Шаблон за n8n или Make

1. Тригер: нов имейл в пощенската ти кутия (IMAP тригер в n8n или Make – данните за достъп остават там)
2. POST /api/v1/jobs с инструмент support_reply, текста на имейла и no_store: true
3. Изчакай няколко секунди и вземи GET /api/v1/jobs/{id}, докато статусът стане done
4. Създай чернова в пощенската си кутия с текста от result.reply (модул за Gmail или Outlook)

В Make изгради същия сценарий от модулите Email (watch emails), HTTP (make a request), Sleep и Gmail или Outlook (create a draft).

Разширения за разработчици и добавки за магазини

Разархивирай ZIP файла и прочети включеното ръководство. Зареди разширението за браузъра локално; първо провери добавките за магазини в тестов магазин. Нужен ти е собствен Dev API ключ. За Shopware в момента има CLI.
