API documentation

With the Do4U API you use the same tools as on the website from your own software: summarise, compare, support replies, alt texts, rewrite and translate. Every request is processed on our own servers in Poland, EU.

OpenAPI 3.1 description (JSON) – Machine-readable description of this API for code generators and tools such as Postman or Insomnia. No key needed.

Authentication

Create a key under API keys in your account. Send it with every request in the header Authorization: Bearer <key> (or X-API-Key: <key>). Keep the key secret and never put it into a web page. You can revoke a key at any time.

How it works

Jobs run asynchronously. You create a job and get its id at once (HTTP 202). Then you fetch the job until its status is done or failed. Ask every 2 to 5 seconds; most jobs take a few seconds.

Request fields for POST /jobs

Repeat requests safely (Idempotency-Key)

Send the header Idempotency-Key with POST /jobs, for example a random UUID for each job (1 to 255 printable ASCII characters). If the connection breaks and you send the same request again with the same Idempotency-Key and the same API key within 24 hours, you get the same answer again: the same job, no second job and no second charge. The answer then has the header Idempotent-Replayed: true. Use a new key for every new job. If you send the same key with a different request, you get 422 idempotency_conflict. Errors are not stored: after an error you can send the request again with the same key.

Tools and options

Job status

queued and running: still working (position and wait_seconds help you to wait). done: result contains the fields of the tool. failed: nothing was charged (credits is 0); error.code names the reason: address_blocked (Do4U does not open this address, for example a private or internal one; send the text or HTML instead), input_too_large (shorten the input), image_unavailable or job_failed. expired: the result is no longer stored.

Webhook-uri

Adaugă "callback_url" la POST /api/v1/jobs, iar Do4U trimite un POST semnat (evenimentul job.finished cu starea, creditele și linkul către rezultat - nu rezultatul în sine) imediat ce sarcina este gata. Doar adrese publice pe portul 80 sau 443; încercăm din nou de până la 6 ori, cu pauze tot mai lungi.

Exemplu: creează o sarcină cu callback_url – și cererea pe care Do4U o trimite la acea adresă când sarcina este gata:

Verifică antetul X-Do4U-Signature: t=<time>,v1=<hex>, unde v1 = HMAC-SHA256(secret, "<time>.<raw body>"). Respinge timpii vechi (de ex. mai vechi de 5 minute). Secretul tău începe cu whsec_ și este afișat pe pagina Chei API.

credits.low

Când soldul de credite al unui cont scade sub prag, Do4U trimite un POST semnat la adresa webhook a contului. Evenimentul nu conține date personale, doar soldul, pragul și ora (UTC). Următorul urmează abia după ce au fost adăugate din nou credite (achiziție, credite gratuite lunare sau voucher). Semnătura și secretul sunt aceleași ca la job.finished.

n8n

Flux de lucru gata făcut: un webhook primește apelul de la Do4U, verifică semnătura, preia rezultatul și îl transmite pasului tău următor.

Descarcă șablonul n8n (JSON)

Șablon, netestat încă într-o instanță reală n8n sau Make – testează verificarea semnăturii înainte să o folosești.

În n8n: Workflows → Import from file. Apoi introdu secretul tău în nodul "Check signature" și cheia ta API în "Do4U: get result", activează fluxul de lucru și folosește URL-ul de producție al webhook-ului ca callback_url. n8n găzduit de tine necesită variabila de mediu NODE_FUNCTION_ALLOW_BUILTIN=crypto pentru verificarea semnăturii.

Make

1. Adaugă modulul Webhooks → Custom webhook ca declanșator și activează "JSON pass-through" și "Get request headers" în setările lui avansate.
2. Folosește adresa acestui webhook ca callback_url.
3. Verifică semnătura: compară v1 din antetul X-Do4U-Signature cu sha256(t + "." + raw body; hex; secretul tău).
4. Adaugă HTTP → Make a request: GET pe result_url cu antetul Authorization: Bearer <your API key>.
5. Folosește câmpul result în modulele tale următoare.

Rețete: înlănțuie instrumente

O rețetă rulează 2 până la 4 instrumente unul după altul ca o singură lucrare. Trimite "recipe" în loc de "tool": fie numele unei rețete gata făcute, fie o listă de pași. Textul intră în primul pas; rezultatul fiecărui pas este textul pentru pasul următor. GET /api/v1/recipes listează rețetele gata făcute, instrumentele pe care le poți folosi și câmpul pe care îl transmite fiecare instrument.

Primești o singură estimare pentru toți pașii (credits_estimate). Suma respectivă este rezervată la pornire. După fiecare pas se înregistrează consumul real, iar restul rămâne rezervat până la final, apoi este eliberat. Un pas eșuat nu costă nimic, pașii rămași sunt săriți, iar pașii deja terminați se taxează.

GET /api/v1/jobs/{id} arată fiecare pas cu starea lui (pending, queued, running, done, failed, skipped), creditele lui, o notificare input_shortened dacă textul a trebuit scurtat pentru instrumentul următor și rezultatul fiecărui pas după ce rețeta s-a încheiat. Cu no_store, rezultatele sunt afișate o singură dată. callback_url se declanșează o singură dată, la sfârșitul rețetei.

Errors

Errors always have the same form: {"error": {"code": "...", "message": "..."}}. With 429 and 503 the header Retry-After says how many seconds to wait.

Limits

• 60 requests per minute per key and 120 per account.
• Open jobs at the same time per account: Free 3, Starter 3, Standard 5, Pro 10, for the website and the API together.
• Input: Free 8 000 characters, paid packages 30 000. Lower limits per tool: compare 20 000, alt_text 1 000, translate 12 000 (compare: both texts together).
• API keys: Free 1, Starter 1, Standard 5, Pro 10.

Credits

A new job shows an estimate (credits_estimate); charged is the actual use (credits). Failed jobs cost nothing. Free credits are used first.

Data

Inputs and results are stored for 7 days (Free) or 30 days (paid packages), then deleted. Images are deleted right after processing. Results are AI-generated: please check them before you use them.

Răspunde la e-mailuri fără să-ți schimbi căsuța de e-mail

Do4U nu rulează o căsuță de e-mail și nu stochează niciodată datele de acces la căsuța ta. Două moduri de a primi totuși ciorne de răspuns:

S1 – Șablon pentru n8n sau Make

1. Declanșator: un e-mail nou în căsuța ta (declanșator IMAP în n8n sau Make – datele de acces rămân acolo)
2. POST /api/v1/jobs cu instrumentul support_reply, textul e-mailului și no_store: true
3. Așteaptă câteva secunde și preia GET /api/v1/jobs/{id} până când starea este done
4. Creează o ciornă în căsuța ta cu textul din result.reply (modulul Gmail sau Outlook)

Descarcă șablonul n8n (JSON)

În Make, construiește același scenariu din modulele Email (watch emails), HTTP (make a request), Sleep și Gmail sau Outlook (create a draft).

Extensii pentru dezvoltatori și pluginuri pentru magazine

Dezarhivează ZIP-ul și citește ghidul inclus. Încarcă extensia de browser local; verifică pluginurile pentru magazine mai întâi într-un magazin de test. Ai nevoie de propria cheie Dev API. Pentru Shopware este disponibil momentan un CLI.
