API documentation

With the Do4U API you use the same tools as on the website from your own software: summarise, compare, support replies, alt texts, rewrite and translate. Every request is processed on our own servers in Poland, EU.

OpenAPI 3.1 description (JSON) – Machine-readable description of this API for code generators and tools such as Postman or Insomnia. No key needed.

Authentication

Create a key under API keys in your account. Send it with every request in the header Authorization: Bearer <key> (or X-API-Key: <key>). Keep the key secret and never put it into a web page. You can revoke a key at any time.

How it works

Jobs run asynchronously. You create a job and get its id at once (HTTP 202). Then you fetch the job until its status is done or failed. Ask every 2 to 5 seconds; most jobs take a few seconds.

Request fields for POST /jobs

Repeat requests safely (Idempotency-Key)

Send the header Idempotency-Key with POST /jobs, for example a random UUID for each job (1 to 255 printable ASCII characters). If the connection breaks and you send the same request again with the same Idempotency-Key and the same API key within 24 hours, you get the same answer again: the same job, no second job and no second charge. The answer then has the header Idempotent-Replayed: true. Use a new key for every new job. If you send the same key with a different request, you get 422 idempotency_conflict. Errors are not stored: after an error you can send the request again with the same key.

Tools and options

Job status

queued and running: still working (position and wait_seconds help you to wait). done: result contains the fields of the tool. failed: nothing was charged (credits is 0); error.code names the reason: address_blocked (Do4U does not open this address, for example a private or internal one; send the text or HTML instead), input_too_large (shorten the input), image_unavailable or job_failed. expired: the result is no longer stored.

Webhooky

Pridaj "callback_url" do POST /api/v1/jobs a Do4U po dokončení úlohy odošle podpísaný POST (udalosť job.finished so stavom, kreditmi a odkazom na výsledok - nie samotný výsledok). Iba verejné adresy na porte 80 alebo 443; opakujeme až 6-krát s postupne dlhšími prestávkami.

Skontroluj hlavičku X-Do4U-Signature: t=<time>,v1=<hex>, kde v1 = HMAC-SHA256(secret, "<time>.<raw body>"). Zamietni staré časy (napr. staršie ako 5 minút). Tvoje tajomstvo začína whsec_ a zobrazuje sa na stránke Kľúče API.

credits.low

Keď zostatok kreditov účtu klesne pod prah, Do4U pošle jeden podpísaný POST na adresu webhooku účtu. Udalosť neobsahuje osobné údaje, iba zostatok, prah a čas (UTC). Ďalšia nasleduje až po opätovnom pripísaní kreditov (nákup, mesačné bezplatné kredity alebo poukaz). Podpis a tajný kľúč sú rovnaké ako pri job.finished.

n8n

Hotový workflow: webhook prijme volanie od Do4U, skontroluje podpis, načíta výsledok a odovzdá ho tvojmu ďalšiemu kroku.

Stiahnuť šablónu pre n8n (JSON)

Šablóna, zatiaľ neotestovaná v reálnej inštancii n8n alebo Make – pred použitím, prosím, otestuj kontrolu podpisu.

V n8n: Workflows → Import from file. Potom zadaj svoje tajomstvo do uzla "Check signature" a svoj kľúč API do "Do4U: get result", aktivuj workflow a použi produkčnú URL webhooku ako callback_url. Vlastne hostované n8n potrebuje na kontrolu podpisu premennú prostredia NODE_FUNCTION_ALLOW_BUILTIN=crypto.

Make

1. Pridaj modul Webhooks → Custom webhook ako spúšťač a v jeho rozšírených nastaveniach zapni "JSON pass-through" a "Get request headers".
2. Adresu tohto webhooku použi ako callback_url.
3. Skontroluj podpis: porovnaj v1 z hlavičky X-Do4U-Signature s sha256(t + "." + raw body; hex; tvoje tajomstvo).
4. Pridaj HTTP → Make a request: GET na result_url s hlavičkou Authorization: Bearer <your API key>.
5. Pole result použi vo svojich ďalších moduloch.

Šablóna, zatiaľ neotestovaná v reálnej inštancii n8n alebo Make – pred použitím, prosím, otestuj kontrolu podpisu.

Recepty: reťazenie nástrojov

Recept spustí 2 až 4 nástroje jeden po druhom ako jednu úlohu. Namiesto "tool" pošli "recipe": buď názov hotového receptu, alebo zoznam krokov. Text ide do prvého kroku; výsledok každého kroku je textom pre ďalší krok. GET /api/v1/recipes vypíše hotové recepty, nástroje, ktoré môžeš použiť, a pole, ktoré každý nástroj odovzdáva ďalej.

Dostaneš jeden odhad pre všetky kroky (credits_estimate). Táto suma sa rezervuje na začiatku. Po každom kroku sa zaúčtuje skutočná spotreba a zvyšok ostáva rezervovaný do konca, potom sa uvoľní. Zlyhaný krok nestojí nič, zvyšné kroky sa preskočia a už dokončené kroky sa účtujú.

GET /api/v1/jobs/{id} ukáže každý krok s jeho stavom (pending, queued, running, done, failed, skipped), jeho kreditmi, upozornením input_shortened, ak sa text pre ďalší nástroj musel skrátiť, a výsledok každého kroku po skončení receptu. Pri no_store sa výsledky zobrazia raz. callback_url sa spustí raz, na konci receptu.

Errors

Errors always have the same form: {"error": {"code": "...", "message": "..."}}. With 429 and 503 the header Retry-After says how many seconds to wait.

Limits

• 60 requests per minute per key and 120 per account.
• Open jobs at the same time per account: Free 3, Starter 3, Standard 5, Pro 10, for the website and the API together.
• Input: Free 8 000 characters, paid packages 30 000. Lower limits per tool: compare 20 000, alt_text 1 000, translate 12 000 (compare: both texts together).
• API keys: Free 1, Starter 1, Standard 5, Pro 10.

Credits

A new job shows an estimate (credits_estimate); charged is the actual use (credits). Failed jobs cost nothing. Free credits are used first.

Data

Inputs and results are stored for 7 days (Free) or 30 days (paid packages), then deleted. Images are deleted right after processing. Results are AI-generated: please check them before you use them.

Odpovedaj na e-maily bez zmeny schránky

Do4U neprevádzkuje schránku a nikdy neukladá prístupové údaje k tvojej e-mailovej schránke. Dva spôsoby, ako aj tak získať návrhy odpovedí:

S1 – Šablóna pre n8n alebo Make

1. Spúšťač: nový e-mail v tvojej schránke (spúšťač IMAP v n8n alebo Make – prístupové údaje zostávajú tam)
2. POST /api/v1/jobs s nástrojom support_reply, textom e-mailu a no_store: true
3. Počkaj pár sekúnd a načítaj GET /api/v1/jobs/{id}, kým nie je stav done
4. Vytvor vo svojej schránke koncept s textom z result.reply (modul Gmail alebo Outlook)

Stiahnuť šablónu pre n8n (JSON)

V Make vytvor rovnaký scenár z modulov Email (sledovanie e-mailov), HTTP (vykonanie požiadavky), Sleep a Gmail alebo Outlook (vytvorenie konceptu).

Rozbaľ ZIP a prečítaj si priložený návod. Rozšírenie prehliadača načítaj lokálne; doplnky pre obchody najprv vyskúšaj v testovacom obchode. Potrebuješ vlastný kľúč Dev API. Shopware momentálne ponúka CLI.
