API documentation

With the Do4U API you use the same tools as on the website from your own software: summarise, compare, support replies, alt texts, rewrite and translate. Every request is processed on our own servers in Poland, EU.

OpenAPI 3.1 description (JSON) – Machine-readable description of this API for code generators and tools such as Postman or Insomnia. No key needed.

Authentication

Create a key under API keys in your account. Send it with every request in the header Authorization: Bearer <key> (or X-API-Key: <key>). Keep the key secret and never put it into a web page. You can revoke a key at any time.

How it works

Jobs run asynchronously. You create a job and get its id at once (HTTP 202). Then you fetch the job until its status is done or failed. Ask every 2 to 5 seconds; most jobs take a few seconds.

Request fields for POST /jobs

Repeat requests safely (Idempotency-Key)

Send the header Idempotency-Key with POST /jobs, for example a random UUID for each job (1 to 255 printable ASCII characters). If the connection breaks and you send the same request again with the same Idempotency-Key and the same API key within 24 hours, you get the same answer again: the same job, no second job and no second charge. The answer then has the header Idempotent-Replayed: true. Use a new key for every new job. If you send the same key with a different request, you get 422 idempotency_conflict. Errors are not stored: after an error you can send the request again with the same key.

Tools and options

Job status

queued and running: still working (position and wait_seconds help you to wait). done: result contains the fields of the tool. failed: nothing was charged (credits is 0); error.code names the reason: address_blocked (Do4U does not open this address, for example a private or internal one; send the text or HTML instead), input_too_large (shorten the input), image_unavailable or job_failed. expired: the result is no longer stored.

Вебхуки

Додай "callback_url" до POST /api/v1/jobs, і Do4U надішле підписаний POST (подія job.finished зі статусом, кредитами та посиланням на результат - не сам результат), щойно завдання буде виконано. Лише публічні адреси на порту 80 або 443; ми повторюємо спробу до 6 разів зі зростаючими паузами.

Перевір заголовок X-Do4U-Signature: t=<time>,v1=<hex>, де v1 = HMAC-SHA256(secret, "<time>.<raw body>"). Відхиляй застарілий час (наприклад, старіший за 5 хвилин). Твій секрет починається з whsec_ і показаний на сторінці «Ключі API».

credits.low

Коли баланс кредитів облікового запису падає нижче порогу, Do4U надсилає один підписаний POST на адресу вебхука цього облікового запису. Подія не містить персональних даних, лише баланс, поріг і час (UTC). Наступна подія надійде лише після того, як кредити будуть додані знову (покупка, щомісячні безкоштовні кредити або ваучер). Підпис і секрет такі самі, як для job.finished.

n8n

Готовий робочий процес: вебхук отримує виклик від Do4U, перевіряє підпис, отримує результат і передає його твоєму наступному кроку.

Завантажити шаблон n8n (JSON)

Шаблон, ще не протестований у справжньому екземплярі n8n чи Make – перевір підпис, перш ніж ним користуватися.

В n8n: Workflows → Import from file. Потім введи свій секрет у вузол "Check signature" і свій ключ API у "Do4U: get result", активуй робочий процес і використай робочу URL-адресу вебхука як callback_url. Для n8n на власному сервері для перевірки підпису потрібна змінна середовища NODE_FUNCTION_ALLOW_BUILTIN=crypto.

Make

1. Додай модуль Webhooks → Custom webhook як тригер і ввімкни "JSON pass-through" та "Get request headers" у його розширених налаштуваннях.
2. Використай адресу цього вебхука як callback_url.
3. Перевір підпис: порівняй v1 із заголовка X-Do4U-Signature з sha256(t + "." + raw body; hex; твій секрет).
4. Додай HTTP → Make a request: GET на result_url із заголовком Authorization: Bearer <your API key>.
5. Використай поле result у своїх наступних модулях.

Рецепти: ланцюжок інструментів

Рецепт виконує від 2 до 4 інструментів один за одним як єдине завдання. Надсилай «recipe» замість «tool»: або назву готового рецепта, або список кроків. Текст потрапляє на перший крок; результат кожного кроку – це текст для наступного. GET /api/v1/recipes перелічує готові рецепти, інструменти, які можна використовувати, і поле, яке передає кожен інструмент.

Ти отримуєш одну оцінку для всіх кроків (credits_estimate). Ця сума резервується на початку. Після кожного кроку реальне використання списується, а решта залишається зарезервованою до кінця, після чого вивільняється. Невдалий крок нічого не коштує, решту кроків пропущено, а кроки, які вже завершилися, оплачуються.

GET /api/v1/jobs/{id} показує кожен крок зі статусом (pending, queued, running, done, failed, skipped), його кредитами, повідомленням input_shortened, якщо текст довелося скоротити для наступного інструмента, і результатом кожного кроку після завершення рецепта. З no_store результати показуються один раз. callback_url спрацьовує один раз, наприкінці рецепта.

Errors

Errors always have the same form: {"error": {"code": "...", "message": "..."}}. With 429 and 503 the header Retry-After says how many seconds to wait.

Limits

• 60 requests per minute per key and 120 per account.
• Open jobs at the same time per account: Free 3, Starter 3, Standard 5, Pro 10, for the website and the API together.
• Input: Free 8 000 characters, paid packages 30 000. Lower limits per tool: compare 20 000, alt_text 1 000, translate 12 000 (compare: both texts together).
• API keys: Free 1, Starter 1, Standard 5, Pro 10.

Credits

A new job shows an estimate (credits_estimate); charged is the actual use (credits). Failed jobs cost nothing. Free credits are used first.

Data

Inputs and results are stored for 7 days (Free) or 30 days (paid packages), then deleted. Images are deleted right after processing. Results are AI-generated: please check them before you use them.

Відповідай на листи, не змінюючи свою скриньку

Do4U не веде скриньку і ніколи не зберігає даних доступу до твоєї пошти. Є два способи все одно отримувати чернетки відповідей:

S1 – Шаблон для n8n або Make

1. Тригер: новий лист у твоїй скриньці (тригер IMAP в n8n або Make – дані доступу залишаються там)
2. POST /api/v1/jobs з інструментом support_reply, текстом листа та no_store: true
3. Почекай кілька секунд і отримуй GET /api/v1/jobs/{id}, доки статус не стане done
4. Створи у своїй скриньці чернетку з текстом із result.reply (модуль Gmail або Outlook)

У Make збудуй той самий сценарій із модулів Email (watch emails), HTTP (make a request), Sleep та Gmail або Outlook (create a draft).

Розпакуй ZIP і прочитай доданий посібник. Завантаж розширення браузера локально; плагіни для магазинів спершу перевір у тестовому магазині. Потрібен твій власний ключ Dev API. Для Shopware наразі є CLI.
